BS, Jr specialist

Brian Gomringer was born and raised in the city of El Monte, a predominately Latinx community on the outskirts of Los Angeles County. Brian's experience as a son and sibling of undocumented Peruvian-American immigrants has fueled his mission to serve pediatric populations in underrepresented societies. As a first-generation college student, Brian achieved his Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology at the University of California, Irvine. The following steps in Brian's path are applying to M.D. programs as an aspiring pediatrician. In his current position as a Junior Specialist, Brian seeks to uncover the persistent effects of early-life exercise on behaviors related to learning and memory. On the weekends, he enjoys playing soccer with fellow enthusiasts in his community as the co-host for the Hacienda/Rowland Heights Soccer group.
