BA, Lab Manager

Gus Owusu Agyemang (He/They) was born and raised in Kumasi, Ghana and Chicago, Illinois. They graduated from Wellesley College in 2022 with a B.A in Neuroscience. Gus joined the Ivy Lab in July 2022 as the Lab Manager/Assistant. As the lab manager, he helps maintain the daily run of the lab and animal colony as well assist in a project investigating the effect of exercise on neurogenesis and cell fate. Looking forward, Gus hopes to attend graduate school to continue research in cellular & molecular neuroscience. In their free time, Gus enjoy cooking, biking and taking care of plants.
