Irene Baghdasaryan
Undergraduate Student
Irene Baghdasaryan grew up in SoCal, born and raised in Los Angeles. She is currently a 3rd year pre-dental undergraduate student in the midst of completing a BS in Biological Sciences at University of California, Irvine. She officially joined the Ivy lab in her spring quarter of 2022, and since then has learned and completed different behavioral analysis on mice. Her future projects will involve analyzing data collected from the ANYMaze software to explore whether early-life exercise (ELE) can mitigate early-life adversity (ELA) induced memory deficits, whether there is a specific dose of ELE to alleviate these deficits, and how long ELE can enable long-term memory. Outside of the lab, Irene enjoys exploring the UC campus, binge watching various TV shows and movies (especially those that star Adam Sandler), going to concerts, trying different types of foods, and playing card games.
